Lyrics

  For What It's Worth
                                                  Written by Stephen Stills

 There's somethin' happenin' here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
A tellin' me, I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound?
 Everybody look what's going down

 There's battle lines being drawn
 Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
 Young people speakin' their minds
A gettin' so much resistance from behind

Time we stop, hey, what's that sound?
 Everybody look what's going down

What a field day for the heat
 (Hmm, hmm, hmm)
A thousand people in the street
 (Hmm, hmm, hmm)
Singing songs and they carrying signs
 (Hmm, hmm, hmm)
Mostly say, hooray for our side
 (Hmm, hmm, hmm)

It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound?
 Everybody look what's going down

 Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
Step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what's that sound?
 Everybody look what's going down
We better stop, hey, what's that sound?
 Everybody look what's going down
We better stop, now, what's that sound?
 Everybody look what's going down

We better stop, children, what's that sound?

 Everybody look what's going down

OCCUPY
Written by: Greg Coleman

1st. Verse:                              Our voices have been silent far too long
                                                The 99% is growing strong
Citizens are taking to the streets
Sick and tired of suffer-ing defeat

2nd. Verse:                              Everybody needs to represent
Investigate the way the money’s spent
                                                               (It’s time to occupy)

3rd. Verse:                              This system is unfair and so unjust
                                                These conditions warrant a protest
Accusing us of crying for handouts
All the while you’re begging for bailouts

4th. Verse:                              We don’t really need your charity
We only want the fairness that we need
                                                            (It’s time to occupy)

Bridge:                                     Can you feel it?
                                                  There’s something in the air
                                                  No more apathy
It’s time for us to care
A generation has suffered cause of greed
We’ve got to hit the streets
To get the things we need

4th. Verse:                                Americans are feeling so much pain
Fighting all the wars you start in vain
Claiming that were fighting to be free
Now we know they die for the money

5th. Verse:                                You don’t care how badly that we grieve
Cause you never send your families
                                                                  (It’s time to occupy)

Bridge:                                    No more sitting back
While you lie and cheat and steal
                                                 These changes are now permanent
                                                 Our discontent is real
                                                 Just keep the movement strong
We owe it to our youth
                                                 Don’t just occupy the streets
                                                 Let’s hit the voting booths

1st. Verse:                               Our voices have been silent far too long
